POTSDAM — The Village of Potsdam parking ban on village streets between 2 and 6 a.m. goes into effect Nov. 27 and runs through the winter season.
Vehicles parked on the street between these hours will be tickets and towed at the owners expense, village officials said in a prepared statement.
The schedule for removal of snow in overnight parking lots was also released.
The schedule is as follows listing the lot, day of week and time: Island Lot, Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; main Street Lot, Area 1, Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Main Street Lot, Area 2, Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Munson Street - Broad Street Lot, Thursdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Raymond Street -Depot Street, Wednesdays, 1- a.m.-4 p.m.; Raymond Street - Raquette River Lot, Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
All vehicles are to be removed from overnight parking areas during the above times through March 3.
