POTSDAM – The Town of Potsdam will hold an informational meeting and begin accepting applications grants and loans to rehabilitate substandard owner-occupied houses 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29 in the town offices at 12 Elm St.
The town, through the Village of Potsdam Planning and Development Office, has received a $400,000 federal Community Development Block Grant to repair houses in poor condition throughout the town but outside the villages of Potsdam and Norwood.
The meeting will address the application process, eligibility for grants and loans, bidding and security requirements. Time will be available for questions. Following the meeting, the Planning and Development Office staff will begin to accept applications for assistances through the program.
