National Junior Honor Society members with PTSA members who made popcorn for students and staff to celebrate the Great Kindness Challenge.
POTSDAM -- Students at A. A. Kingston Middle School participated recently in “The Great Kindness Challenge,” when in one school week they performed as many random acts of kindness as possible.
Aided by a giant checklist of kind acts, students were encouraged to “catch” as may acts of kindness as possible. Once “caught,” acts were recorded on colored slips that reflect the grade level of the performer of the kind deed.
Kindness quotes were posted around the school and were recited on the daily announcements.
National Junior Honor Society members sorted, tallied and posted the acts slips each day of the challenge.
