POTSDAM -- A Potsdam man volunteered as part of the American Red Cross to provide assistance to families following severe storms that brought tornadoes, heavy rains and flash flooding to already water-logged communities in Texas.
Tim Schwob was one of many volunteers that provided help to the thousands of families across Texas who were impacted by the storms last week.
At least six people have died as a result of the storms.
Volunteers commit to serving for two weeks on each disaster deployment they accept.
