POTSDAM -- A Potsdam man was jailed Sunday for allegedly breaking into two homes causing damage to both, according to Potsdam police.
Jordan I. Storey, 23, reportedly unlawfully entered an apartment on Market Street and broke a window in the apartment.
He then left the apartment and broke a window at a residence on Elderkin Street and went inside that home, police said.
Once inside, he threw and broke several items in the house, officers said.
Storey was reportedly arrested near the Elderkin Street home a short time later.
He was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief, police said.
He was arraigned in Potsdam court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
