POTSDAM – After responding to a reported hit-and-run car accident in the Market Street Lanes parking lot, village police ended up arresting a Potsdam man with a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit Friday night.
Edward J. Keleher, 34, Potsdam, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, blood alcohol level .23 percent, well above the .08 legal limit, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
He was issued tickets returnable to village court on Oct. 27.
