POTSDAM -- A Potsdam man faces allegations that, brandishing a knife, he chased another man threatening to kill him.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gary W. Haught, 39, of 48 Regan Rd. after David Gandino, 31, 20 Debra Dr., called 911 and, after the sheriff's patrol arrive, told deputies Haught had argued with him and chased him through the yard carrying a knife and threatening to kill him Sunday.
Haught has been charged with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and is due in Potsdam Town Court June 15 to answer the charge.
