LAWRENCE – A Potsdam man was issued a ticket for following too closely after his motorcycle rear-ended a pickup truck on State Rt. 11B Saturday, injuring himself.
James Weinrich, 65, was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital Saturday afternoon with leg and arm injuries that required surgery Sunday, according to state police in Massena. Troopers described his injuries as not life-threatening.
Troopers said Weinrich ran into the back of a pickup truck operated by Edwards McGraw, 80, North Lawrence, as McGraw was southbound in 11B and was making a turn into a rest area.
