POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged Monday afternoon after allegedly choking a victim in front of a child during a dispute at Racquette Road, according to Potsdam police.
Police allege Chase G. Lozano, 25, choked a person and then stopped two people from calling police by taking their phones.
The incident took place in front of a child, officers said.
Lozano was charged at 3:20 p.m. with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
He was arraigned in Potsdam court and released on his own recognizance to appear in Potsdam court at a later date.
