POTSDAM – A Potsdam man is accused of assault, imprisonment, criminal mischief and other charges, and his grandmother is charged with mischief, in connection with events around an alleged domestic dispute in the town and village of Potsdam.
Korey D. Ayers, 25, of 358 Sweeney Road, has been arraigned in Town of Pierrepont Court on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond for bail.
His grandmother, Donna L. Ross, 71, of the same address, is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, and was given an appearance ticket.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies said Ayers is accused in a domestic dispute with a female that occurred in the town and village of Potsdam Tuesday.
Ross was charged for allegedly disconnecting a telephone when the female tried to call for help.
