POTSDAM -- A winter food drive, recently sponsored by the Potsdam Lions Club at the Potsdam IGA on Elm Street, collected over 400 non-perishable food items and $125.

The food donations were made by IGA patrons and employees, Lions members, Clarkson students from three fraternities and many other supporters.

“We sincerely thank everyone for over 400 nonperishable items collected, valuing over $600, to help restock the Potsdam Neighborhood food pantry,” said Michelle Roach.

“We especially thank the owners, managers and employees of our Potsdam IGA, as they set up great food sales that made it easy and affordable to make food donations, and for their generous provision of using their store to conduct the food drive.”
