POTSDAM – The Potsdam Lions Club donated $850.00 to Potsdam St. Mary's Church and the Interfaith Council of Churches for Thanksgiving dinner, food baskets, and community outreach for needy families.
Many Potsdam residents not only donated food items for the basket, but also joined together at St. Mary's Church Nov. 17 to help fill the boxes with a list of several itemized food items to complete a Thanksgiving dinner for a small or large family.
Six Lions members participated in packing food boxes together with many others.
The dinner baskets were delivered to families Nov. 20 by volunteers.
