POTSDAM – The Potsdam Lions Club is celebrating 80 years of service to the community on Tuesday, Dec. 6 with guest speakers, live entertainment, food and cocktails.
Festivities begin at the Potsdam Elks Lodge, 10 Elm St., with cocktails at 5:30 p.m.
A buffet dinner will be served for $25 per person, ages 18-80. Payment can be made at the door. Dinner includes water, coffee and tea. All other beverages including soda, beer, wine and mixed drinks can be bought at the bar separately.
The dinner includes prime rib, chicken cordon bleu, vegetarian lasagna, potatoes, veggies, salads, homemade rolls with butter and desserts.
The master of ceremonies will be Potsdam Lion Joseph Fitzsimons.
Guest speakers will include Potsdam Mayor Ron Tischler, district governor Kelly Clark, and first vice district governor Donna Ober.
