POTSDAM – Three trustees to serve on the Potsdam Public Library Board will be chosen in an election between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11 at the library.
The three members whose terms are expiring are Pamela Yurgartis, Dale Hobson and Richard VanLeuven.
The terms to be filled are for three years commencing July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2016.
Petitions nominating candidates must be filed with the Potsdam Public Library Clerk of the Board Dawn Bartow at the library no later than 5 p.m. Monday, May 14. All petitions must be signed by a minimum of 25 qualified voters of the Potsdam School District.
Petitions may be obtained at the library.
Candidates and voters must be citizens of the United States of America, 18 years old or older, and a resident of the Potsdam Central School District for at least 30 days before the election.
