POTSDAM -- Mrs. Judy Butler-Daggett's fourth grade class at Potsdam’s Lawrence Avenue Elementary School are donating supplies and $900 in cash they have collected for the Potsdam Animal Shelter.
Brooke Joyce, Saanvi Dhaniyala and Mallory Green and their classmates organized a “Cause for Paws” donation drive recently.
In the photo they are proudly showing off some of the many items they collected for the Potsdam Humane Society’s shelter.
This class initiated the project and students in pre-K through fourth grade classes as well as staff brought in many needed items.
Large boxes filled with food, cleaners, toys and medical supplies are being brought to the shelter today.
