POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Kiwanis Club will be hosting the Harlem Ambassadors basketball team at a November event and is currently looking for local sponsors and business willing to act as ticket outlets for the event.
A basketball team to challenge the Ambassadors also needs to be organized.
The Harlem Ambassadors team formed in 1998 and events generally feature "high-flying slam dunks, hilarious comedy, audience participation and fun for the whole family."
All proceeds from the event will go to local programs mainly focused on youth and leadership as well as other community services provided by the Kiwanis Club.
Any business interested in being a ticket outlet or sponsor can contact Marcie Adams at 261-8587 or Marylee Ballou at 261-9590.
