POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Junior Hockey Association Mite Division enjoyed great success last weekend when it participated in the 2015 North Franklin Mite Shootout.
The red, white and blue mites each finished first in their respective divisions after the round robin, each time going on to win their respective championships.
The red mites defeated the Tri-Town Timberwolves with a final score of 5-1; the white mites defeated the Norwood Icemen 5-0; and the blue mites defeated the Tri-Town Timberwolves 4-1.
The red and white mites also competed in a skills competition with Devon Green winning the shootout for the red mites, and the white mites, consisting of Danielle Emerson, Bryce Yette, Brian Bigwarfe and William Sullivan, won the relay race.
