POTSDAM -- Sammy the Coon Hound is celebrating the grand re-opening of the Potsdam Save-A-Lot store with veterinarian Jessica Slapar, Jeffrey Proulx, owner of Save-A-Lot and UPS Stores, and Alysia Maynard, Potsdam Humane Society director.
“Mr. Proulx has supported our local animal shelter with a $3,000 dollar donation as part of the "Adopt the Shelter" program,” said board member Bonnie Boyd.
“Sammy is a senior resident at the Potsdam Animal shelter and is free to a senior adopter under the "Senior for Seniors" program. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and patiently waiting for his forever family to come and adopt him,” she said.
