POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Humane Society is recruiting volunteers to work the concessions at the ECAC college hockey tournament in Lake Placid March 18, 19, 25 and 26.
Their work at the tournament will raise funds for the society's animal shelter, as much as $6,000 according to Humane Society Board Member Bonnie Boyd.
The schedule for volunteers is March 18 and 25, leave the shelter on Madrid Avenue at noon for 1:30 arrival in Lake Placid; March 19 and 26, leave at 2:30 for 4 p.m. arrival.
