POTSDAM – Senior citizens who receive Home Meals got an extra special surprise on Valentine’s Day. The Potsdam High School Red Cross Club with the assistance of the Civics and U.S. History classes created personalized Valentine’s Day cards.
According to Nancy Robert, Director, St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging, 138 meals are provided to homebound senior citizens and disabled.
Areas served included Potsdam, Norwood/Norfolk, Madrid Waddington, Colton, Gouverneur, Degrass and Edwards.
The Potsdam High School students wanted to let the homebound know the they were thinking about them.
