POTSDAM -- The Potsdam High School Red Cross Club has adopted the platoon of a former Potsdam High School graduate.
Second Lt. Kevin Lambert is commanding a platoon of 19 soldiers in Afghanistan.
The club is seeking donations to send over to the troops for the holiday season. Club members say this is an opportunity to for the public to thank the soldiers for their service.
Donations can be dropped off until Dec. 10 at Potsdam Central School
