POTSDAM -- The Potsdam High School Red Cross Club recently donated $1,129 to the Red Cross Northern New York Disaster Fund.
The club raised the funds with a Monster Bash Fun Night at AAK Middle School last October and a change collection drive and cookie sale at the high school during Red Cross Week in March.
Receiving the check was Matt Menard, the Northern New York Disaster Program Manager.
The check was presented by Beth Gilbert, Red Cross Club President and Angie Blair, Red Cross liaison for the club.
The money is used to support local disaster victims.
