POTSDAM -- On Nov. 16, Potsdam Head Start spent their morning making dog biscuits with their dads and grandfathes.
The following day, the kids delivered the treats and visited the Potsdam Animal Shelter.
"With Thanksgiving fast approaching, we have been discussing the importance of being thankful and appreciative of others," Amanda Felix from Potsdam Head Start wrote in an email.
The students were "excited" to visit the cats, dogs and ferrets, Felix said.
