POTSDAM -- During this year's Girl Scout cookie sale three Potsdam's Girl Scout Troops collected cookies to be donated.
The girls decided before the sale started to donate the cookies to Golden Knight Battalion US Army ROTC for them to send in their care packages for soldiers that are deployed.
Last month, Cadets from Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam attended Girl Scout Troop meeting to collect more than 100 boxes of donated cookies.
The Girl Scouts thanked everyone who purchased cookies and make the donation possible.
