POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op held its 15th Annual Baking Contest and Silent Auction recently in the Carriage House Bakery to benefit the Potsdam Neighborhood Center.
The bakers with the most votes in each category of our friendly baking contest were:
• Cookies: Ginger Pear Cookies by Zena Turner
• Desserts: Cinnamon Apple Pie by John Dewar
• Special Diet: Gluten-free Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake by Maliah Wright
• Savory: Savory Rice Pudding by Susan Dillon
The winners in each of the categories receive a $25 Good Food Gift Card from the Co-op.
Collectively, a total of $907 was raised for the Potsdam Neighborhood Center.
