POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., has revised its Business Partnership Program to better serve the needs of the community and promote shopping local.
The program offers co-op member-owners discounts or other benefits and are listed on the co-op's website, in their quarterly newsletter, and in the store.
The purpose of the program is to reinforce cooperation among local businesses, and to encourage the public to shop locally whenever possible.
The newly revamped program will provide signs for participating businesses to remind patrons of the discount. Also, the Business Partners page in the newsletter will be redesigned to include business card style ads for each participant, and will feature a profile of a participating business each quarter.
Current Business Partners are being contacted to update their discounts and to confirm their interest in continued participation. Businesses that are not currently involved can contact general manager Eric Jesner at eric@potsdamcoop.com for more information.
