POTSDAM – Potsdam Food Co-op and Carriage House Bakery has a new manager.
Eric Jesner has joined the staff as general manager, coming from South Carolina, where he continues to serve on the startup board of the Hub City Co-op in Spartanburg.
A business graduate of Babson College, Jesner began his career in the natural foods industry in Seattle. He has been manager of the Wellness Department at the Berkshire Food Co-op in Massachusetts, Whole Body team leader at Whole Foods Market, a natural foods wholesaler’s broker representative, and other experience in the grocery business.
Jesner and his wife Cheryl have moved to the Potsdam area.
The Co-op, at 24 Elm St., has been led for the last four years by Bob Josephson, and the Co-op thanked him for the leadership he has provided.
