POTSDAM -- Potsdam Comic Con, scheduled for Aug. 18-19, has been rescheduled for Sept. 29-30, according to event organizers.

The show was expected to feature appearances by World Wrestling Entertainment hall of famer Scott Hall (also known as Razor Ramon) along with fellow New World Order (NWO) member Sean Waltman (also known as X-Pac, 6-Pac and the 1-2-3 Kid) and former WWE superstar The Patriot.

A post on the Potsdam Comic Con Facebook page said:

“Due to an unexpected personal loss to our family we have had to reschedule Potsdam Comic Con until September 29th and 30th.

“We have reached out to talent and agents first to let them know as deposits for appearances have been paid. This has been a devastating time for myself and my family and we ask that you understand and respect our privacy.

“For those who would like refunds for tickets purchased you can follow the refund process on our ticket site by clicking the shop now button on our page.

“Tickets pre purchased will all be redeemable at the rescheduled show in September. We will update any guest info as we receive the information.

“We ask that you please understand the time and effort that we have put in to bring a great show to the Potsdam area. Please keep negative comments off our page.

“This has been a rough spot for our family and we appreciate the respect and understanding. We are not a major company putting on a show. We are a family looking to give back to our community.

“I will answer any questions I can about the Comic-Con but I ask that you respect our families personal privacy. Thank you.”

Organizers said the plan is to keep as much of the same talent as possible, however due to scheduling we might have to change a few.
