POTSDAM -- Encounter Youth Group at New Hope Community Church recently raised $3,087.95 for World Vision's 30HR Famine to help feed hungry children in Somalia.
The students also collected non-perishable items from local supermarkets to help stock the food pantry at Helping Hands in Hannawa Falls.
Encounter Youth Group meets weekly at 33 Grant Street at 7 p.m.
