POTSDAM – The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and local businesses will be partipating in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25.
Local businesses who are participating will be offering extras to shoppers that day, including canvas bags and other freebies.
If you spend $100 at a local business, roughly $68 stays in your local economy, said a chamber press release. If you spend that same at a large business, only $43 stays in the local economy (Source: Civic Economics Study in Grand Rapids, Michigan).
