POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber is holding its “Five Meals Raffle.”
Each year the chamber’s events and festival committee collects donated gift certificates from a variety of eateries in Potsdam to raffle off.
This year certificates were donated by 19 local businesses with some giving more than one donation.
"We will award five lucky winners each a collection of five gift certificates, one certificate from each of five different locations in Potsdam." explained Executive Director Marylee Ballou.
“That’s a great deal when most of these certificates are at least $10. We appreciate the support of the businesses that have donated this year.”
The winning collections are: #1-Subway, Between the Buns, Foxy Roxy’s, Potsdam Food Co-op, and Main Street Chocolates, #2- Subway, Ponderosa, First Crush, Potsdam IGA, and Arby’s, #3- Jreck Subs, The Lobster House, McDuff’s, Chilly Delight, and Arby’s, #4- Subway, The Village Diner, Pizza Hut, Asian Buffet, and Hot Tamale, #5 – Subway, The Hop, Eben’s Hearth, Arby’s, and Main Street Chocolates.
The winners will be assigned a collection randomly.
Tickets can be purchased at the Potsdam Chamber office, 24 Market St. Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by contacting a chamber board member.
Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and will be sold until April 1 when the winners will be drawn.
All proceeds of the raffle support the chamber’s events like Summer Festival , July 10-12, and Fright Night, October 23.
