POTSDAM -- Despite the upcoming warmer weather, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce hopes for last minute entries to the "Heartbeat of Potsdam" snowman photo contest.
“We hope people will use this final weekend to get those snowman built and photos submitted by the Feb. 28 deadline,” said Executive Director Marylee Ballou.
Entries must incorporate a “heart” into the snowman design, then send a jpeg photo of the snowman to potsdam@slic.com with name, phone, town name, and email information.
The snowman may be created by an individual, duo, group or family.
The contest is open to all residents of Potsdam and surrounding communities.
All entries will be posted on the chamber Facebook page, and the photo that receives the most "likes" by March 14 will win.
The winner will receive a $25 Potsdam Chamber Gift Certificate.
