POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon cutting at the grand opening celebration of The Front Porch, 3283 US Highway 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The ribbon cutting will kick off the festivities.
The Front Porch is about a mile past Wal-Mart when traveling from Potsdam.
The store offers antique and vintage goods, home accents, furniture, linens and a menagerie of art and country charm.
The business is owned and run by Julie and Gary Murray.
The grand opening celebration will include light refreshments, and music will be provided by Christopher Whalen.
“We hope people will stop to see what we offer, get a jump on gift ideas, and find that unique item for their own home,” said Julie Murray.
Regular business hours for The Front Porch are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Sunday.
