POTSDAM -- Lawrence Avenue Elementary is implementing a Snack Pack Program for eligible students grades pre-k to fourth, and the chamber is asking local buinesses to help out.
The program, co-sponsored by Potsdam Lions Club and the New Hope Community Church, will reportedly provide food to students for weekends and holiday vacations.
The chamber is asking local businesses to donate money, purchase food items or volunteer to pack snack bags.
