POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber has announced the four weekly winners and the grand prize winner from the Potsdam Shop Local Holiday Giveaway campaign that ran from Nov. 25 to Dec. 30.

Over the course of five weeks the 25 businesses and two event locations collected a total of 1,701 entries.

Each weekly winner received Potsdam Chamber gift certificates with the amount increasing as the campaign progressed from $25 to $50, to $75 to $100.

The grand prize winner was drawn from all 1,701 entries and received a basket of gift certificates and such donated by the participating business locations.

The grand prize value was estimated at $250.

The winners were: Week 1, Mallory Keough; Week 2, Christine Vaegle of Heuvelton; Week 3, Cheryl Vaegle of Ogdensburg; and Week 4, Sharon Miller of Potsdam.

The grand prize went to Linda Casserly of Canton.

The chamber thanked all who participated and shopped local, and the businesses that participated in this campaign.
