POTSDAM -- Potsdam Central School’s soccer teams have donated some items to spice up meals at the U.S. Army’s ACS4 in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The teams, boys’ and girls’ modified, JV and varsity, donated cooking spices to Marcel Woods and the rest of Area Control Station 4 in “The Stan” -- Afghanistan.
The players donated over 30 spices during the first two weeks of soccer practice this August.
The donation was organized by Ron Yacketta, who credits the players with the work.
