POTSDAM -- The work of Potsdam Central School alumni Dennis Smyth is featured this fall in a mural on The Tile Company’s alleyway wall, 6 Raymond St.
The mural is located behind the University’s Bookstore, 39 Market St.
“Please, go see it, and enjoy the work of one of the greatest artists this beloved North Country region has to offer,” said Salvador Sarmiento, who organizes artists, preparation, and logistical support for the murals on The Tile Co.
“Thanks go to Laura Passmore, owner at The Tile Co., for contributing space, supplies, tools, kind support, and encouragement,” Sarmiento said. “Thanks to Mr. Otto Czerepak, sparked the project in 2012, as late owner of The Tile Co., Mr. Czerapek, is to be honored for his tremendous artistic contributions and encouragement in the community. Also, anyone who would like to support this and more murals please contact any of the above mentioned.”
