POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam men’s basketball team recently spent the day at Lawrence Avenue Elementary to help students with their Bear Biography Projects.
Students in Joanna Cross' second grade class were grouped with Bears players. The second graders interviewed their Bear and wrote biographies about them.
"We had a fun time with the kids," said Bears sophomore guard Joe Estramonte, Greenwich. "They asked us a bunch of questions and we had a chance to interact with them and help with their project. It was a really good experience for us and I think a good change for the students as well."
