POTSDAM -- The Robert J. Freego Amvets Post 282, 6771 U.S. Highway 11, recently elected officers for 2015.
The new slate includes Commander Floyd Field, first Vice Commander Eric Alan, second Vice Commander Jeff Sochia, third Vice Commander Jerry Deon, finance officer John Saucier, adjutant Rick Carrier, judge advocate Ben Brownell, provost marshall John Freego and trustee Roxanne Snyder.
Upcoming events include the 5th Classic Car show July 5, the weekly classic car cruise-ins beginning July 15, a karaoke night on May 22 to benefit Syracuse VA Hospital veteran patients and a motorcycle run Aug. 9.
