POTSDAM - Potsdam American Legion Post 74, Potsdam, Madrid Road, will be shutting its doors for at least 30 days.
Post Commander Lloyd LaValley said the closure resulted from a mix-up in renewing the club's beer license.
"We didn't get our beer license renewed on time," he said.
Although the club's bar will be closed indefinitely, Mr. LaValley hopes to open the doors as soon as possible.
"We plan on getting it back as soon as we can. It might take 30 days, it might take more."
