Poison dart frog among exotic animals to visit Morristown library

MORRISTOWN -- A redtail hawk, poison dart frog and an ocelot were among the animals that visited the Morristown Public Library Monday.

Traveling wildlife and education program known as Fragile Planet Wildlife brought a variety of exotic animals to the library.

Operator/Directors for the program Tyler Thomas and Nick Stacey displayed an ocelot, poison dart frog, scarlet macaw and an English lop eared rabbit.

One native animal featured was the redtail hawk.

Thomas and Stacey provided information on the different critters natural habitat and diet needs.

Fragile Planet Wildlife is a NYS licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Center which provides aid to injured, orphaned, displaced or distressed wildlife.
