POTSDAM — A Potsdam woman was jailed Thursday night after allegedly stabbing a man in the head with a knife and claw hammer during an alleged domestic dispute, according to Potsdam police.

Jessica L. Reynolds, 34, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, officers said.

Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Larnard Street and charged Reynolds following investigation.

She allegedly assaulted a male with a knife and claw hammer, which caused lacerations and other marks on his head.

Police said he declined medical treatment.

Reynolds also allegedly possessed several electronic items that belonged to the victim, officers said.

She was arraigned by Judge Charleson and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 bail, police said.
