MASSENA -- A Massena man is facing a felony drug count after a traffic stop allegedly turned up crack cocaine.

Barry O. Keese, 56, of Howard Street is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, failure to signal and failure to keep right.

Police said Keese was initially pulled over on the morning of Aug. 18 on Center Street.

Police searched the vehicle and allegedly discovered several baggies of crack hidden inside an electronic cigarette, a crack stem and scales with white residue, according to Chief Adam Love.

He was charged at 10:37 a.m.

Keese was arraigned in Massena Village Court by Justice Eric Gustafson and released under probationary supervision, police said.
