MASSENA -- A Massena teen is jailed on three felonies after allegedly stealing a pistol, according to village police.
Blakely S. Houle, 18, of 250 Main St. is charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree grand larceny and defacing a firearm, all felonies, according to village police.
Houle allegedly stole the semi-automatic pistol from an unlocked vehicle parked at a village residence and scratched off the serial number, police said.
He was arraigned in Massena court by Justice Eric Gustafson and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond, police said.
