POTSDAM -- Local illustrator Catherine LaPointe Vollmer is seeking poets from St. Lawrence County to participate in a public art project.
Submit original poetry written for children to LaPointeArt@gmail.com until March 31.
LaPointe will select about 10 poems to be illustrated and put on display at the Potsdam Public Library this summer, along with a poetry reading by the poets during library Storytime.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
