OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg firefighters responded to a structure fire on Pine Street Thursday at 6:15 p.m., according to Chief Mike Farrell.
"At approximately 6:15 this evening Ogdensburg fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Pine street in the city. Shift 2 with 5 guys under the command of Captain Chris Fay were enroute in under a minute," he said in a report on the department's Facebook page.
Farrell said the department arrived within two minutes of the alarm to find two large sheds on fire, one being fully engulfed.
"Crews stretched 2 attack lines and went to work extinguishing the main body of fire and protecting exposures," he said. "The fire was knocked down almost immediately and under control in 10 minutes."
Farrell said three firefighters were called in to cover the city while the shift on duty was working the fire.
The fire is under investigation by OFD and OPD. OVRS, National grid, OPD, and country car 9 assisted
