Pig decorations missing from Ogdensburg porch make it all the way home

OGDENSBURG -- A woman with a sentimental attachment to her Christmas pig decorations is happy to tell us that whoever took them from her front porch has brought them back.

Paula Ericksen told us earlier this week that the decorations were stolen last Friday or Saturday.

She put up a sign attempting to shame the “Grinch” who took them, and she wrote on the NorthCountryNow lost and found page, “They are very sentimental to me and are very unique. Please if you took them please return them in keeping with the Christmas spirit. You will never be able to enjoy them and they will just remind you of the sadness you caused a good family.”

But she sent us a photo Wednesday showing the two pink piglets back in their place on the porch, with a new sign that reads, “The Grinch does have a conscience and the pigs went wee wee wee all the way home....Merry Christmas!”
