PIERREPONT -- A Canton man faces assault and felony criminal possession of a weapon charges after head butting a female teenager during a domestic dispute April 11, according to state police.
Daniel E. Moore, 35, reportedly assaulted the female in front of two other female children, ages 12 and 13.
He was also charged with third-degree assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child on April 25 at 6:22 p.m. stemming from an incident earlier that day, officers said.
Following Moore’s arrest troopers found that he was in possession of two Sig Sauer 9mm handguns and multiple rounds of ammunition. Moore reportedly does not possess a New York State Pistol Permit.
Troopers said they also charged Moore with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon: ammo clip, felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned again at the Pierrepont Town Court where he was released under the supervision of probation.
