NORWOOD -- Sue Perry, owner and operator of Perry’s Big M and a longtime supporter of the fire department’s Fourth of July celebration, has contributed $1,000 toward this year’s fireworks show.
“This contribution is a major kick-start towards covering the thousands of dollars invested in Norwood’s famous 4th July fireworks demonstration,” said Norwood Fire Department Treasurer Tim Donahue. The $2 contribution at the gate can no longer cover the cost of such a large display.”
This year the fire department has asked its local merchants to “help keep Norwood’s 79th celebration the biggest and the best in the North Country. Perry’s Big M has always been there for the Fire Department and Sue’s most generous support is most appreciated,” Donahue said.
