POTSDAM -- More than 40 people rallied for a peaceful protest in Potsdam Saturday as part of an international call to action on global climate change.
The event, "Connect the Dots," between climate change and extreme weather was organized by 350.org.
The aimed to raise awareness related to the amount of C02 in the atmosphere.
The event featured speakers including SUNY Potsdam's Chris Jenne, Canton's Tom VandeWater and Karen Norton, as well as Frank Thies of Veterans for Peace.
